Christy Perry began her career in the financial industry with Wachovia Bank in 2001, where she worked in the Wilkesboro branch office as a personal financial banker. In this role, she helped individuals and families work toward their financial goals while developing a strong foundation in banking products and services. She specialized in simplifying complex financial decisions, from managing everyday accounts to navigating lending and investment options.
During her tenure with Wachovia and later Wells Fargo Bank, Christy transitioned into a Commercial Banker role, partnering with medium- to large-sized businesses to support their growth and long-term objectives. She worked closely with business owners, CEOs, and CFOs to tailor financial strategies to their unique needs, with a focus on cash flow optimization, loan structuring, and managing complex credit situations.
Christy brings this breadth of experience to Absher Wealth Management, where she is passionate about helping clients achieve financial clarity and confidence. Christy enjoys volunteering and currently serves on the Wilkes Community College Foundation Board, the Wilkes County Hall of Fame Board, and the Boomer Fire Department Board. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Jamie and their four children. They like to travel and are always looking for a new place to visit and explore.
